Key Objectives

To provide day-to-day servicing and administration in respect of Claims in a timely, technically accurate and cost effective manner.

Core Tasks and Responsibilities

1. To provide claims administrative services to clients, confining advice and information to those areas in which you are knowledgeable and competent, otherwise seeking advice as appropriate.

Commercial Account Handler - Middx - £24K

Key Objective

To provide day-to-day servicing and administration in respect of allocated Clients’ insurance programmes in a timely, technically accurate and cost effective manner.

To maintain income by retaining existing clients and expanding their portfolio where possible.

Core Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.
2. Develop and maintain positive ongoing relationships with Insurers and Underwriters.
3. To provide broking and administrative services to clients, confining advice and information to those areas in which you are knowledgeable and competent, otherwise seeking advice as appropriate. 
4. Take instructions relating to the provision of insurance cover from clients and Account Executives when appropriate.
5. Give instructions to insurance providers.
6. Check policy documents, (including endorsements) for accuracy prior to receipt by clients.

8. Handle the invoicing of premiums due, and to assist with effective credit control in respect of allocated Clients.

Claims Handler - Middx - £22k

An established and expanding Insurance Brokers requires a Claims Handler to join their successful Commercial Claims team.

You will be expected to manage the day to day servicing and administration of your accounts as well as being responsible for client retention and expansion of the portfolio.

The Claims Handler will be expected to have excellent technical knowledge as well as first class relationship skills. You will require experience of collating accurate information and presenting claims to Insurers.

Commerial Account Executive - Middx - £35k

Claims Handler - Middx - £30k

A minimum of 2 years experience of insurance claims handling.

1.      To be conversant with Company Procedures Manual and the requirements of the GISC / FSA / IIP Standards and Rules.

2.      To ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and requirements and to highlight and report any relevant situations.

3.      To monitor and log workflow in order to identify backlog situations and to take corrective action.

4.      To ensure there is an efficient and satisfactory service to both Account Handlers and customers.

5.      To provide feedback through regular Review Meetings.

Underwriting Analyst - Staines Middx - £27k

• Provision of monthly Underwriting management/performance reporting and summaries.
• Production of various ad hoc analyses, claims trend reports and summaries.
• Liaison with sales, administration, claims, IT, MIS and finance teams.
• Maintenance of risk premiums and AS400 database.

The successful candidate will be given an existing portfolio of clients to manage, which will also include handling of new business accounts. You will be responsible in managing your client at all stages starting from introduction right through to claims.Must be familiar with London Markets.Must also have previous experience with PI & D&O financial institutions experience, ideally from an Account manager/Broking background.

Business Development Manager - London - £40K

Our client is a fast growing Insurance Broker, experience insurance or financial services sector, particularly alternative investment, is deseired. You must have proven experience in business development. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing new leads and developing new and exsisting markets. Candidate must be able to target markets and develop strategies to present sevices, keeping close eye on market conditions, developments and study competition.

Commercial Account Handler - Herts  - £25,000 Neg aae

Commercial Account Handler 
appropriate experience of commercial, corporate or personal (if FS) Insurance.
Knowledge of the appropriate classes of business with reference to appropriate experts when the cover falls outside their own experience. A thorough understanding of FSA regulations and guideline as applied to the type of client being dealt with.

COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT HANDLER (ESSEX) ~ £20 to £30K
A Commercial Property Account Handler is required for an independent brokers. You will be working on the European side of commercial property. You will have at least 2-3 years experience in the commercial/residential side of property insurance and you will be providing quotations, advising clients of the best available policy supporting the commercial account executives and the account manager when they are abroad or on business trips or at seminars. Knowledge of Professional Indemnity is desirable but not essential. Persons with good underwriting experience in the property field are welcomed for this position if you would be interested in the broking side of business.

PERSONAL LINES ACCOUNT HANDLER (ESSEX) ~ £18-20K
Personal Lines Account Handler required for an international insurer.
You will be dealing with renewals, adjustments, queries/complaints and cancellations of policies.
Use of MISYS is an advantage.

COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT HANDLER, WHOLESALE DIVISION (LONDON) ~ £20-25K
A Commercial Account Handler is required to provide support for two Account Executives dealing with commercial property and liability. Successful applicant will have a minimum of two years experience, preferably in the Lloyd’s environment.

PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY ACCOUNT HANDLER ~ £25k ~ City
The successful Candidate will be working in a very busy office environment dealing with Professional Indemnity Insurance, Inviting Renewals, Marketing Risks,Quoting, Processing Orders, Dealing with mid term adjustments. Experience in Insurance would be advantage must be able to work under pressure and be numerate.

COMMERCIAL PROPERTY ACCOUNT HANDLER (CITY/WEST END) ~ £28-35K
Due to the continued expansion of the this Division, an opportunity has arisen for a confident insurance professional to become part of the Division's expansion programme.

Background.
The International Property Division continues to grow against the background of a challenging market place. The Division provides innovative and tailor made solutions to both retail and wholesale clients property exposures. The Division's successes are due to the staff employed and their commitment to providing a flexible and professional service to an increasingly sophisticated client base.

Job Requirements
Any suitable candidate will have a minimum of English & Maths GCSE Grade B or above and three other GCSE passes Grade C or above. Further qualifications would be advantageous.
•The candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience within the insurance industry, preferably with a minimum exposure of 3 years in the London Market, dealing with property risks of a direct nature.

POLITICAL RISKS PRODUCING BROKER ~ (CITY) ~ £45-55k
A Producing Broker is required for a city based insurance broker. You will be required to produce trade finance and associated political risk, contract frustration and credit insurance business within marine, non-marine and aviation. This vacancy is for someone that can bring a book of business to the company. You will have at least 10 years broking experience and be able to place as well as produce the business. Preferable you will hold a Lloyds ticket and have the relevant insurance examination however this is not essential.

PROPERTY AND CASUALTY PRODUCING BROKER ~ (CITY) ~ £40-55k
A large city based Lloyds insurance broker that is expanding rapidly requires 3 property and casualty producing brokers. The ideal candidate will have excellent sound knowledge of the UK and US property and casualty market. You will hold a Lloyds ticket and have at least 3yrs experience in the property and casualty side of business. Liaison with other brokers/underwriters and directors gathering up layers so that the business can be placed. Candidates with a book of business should apply immediately however a book of business is not essential. Any other insurance qualifications will support your application.

NON MARINE PRODUCING BROKER ~ (CITY) ~ £45-55k
A large and well established Lloyds insurance broker that is expanding rapidly requires 2 producing brokers to complete the team. You will be gathering layers, liaising with other brokers,directors and Lloyds brokers. producing all Non-Marine business. Candidates with a book of business should apply in the first instance however, this is not a necessary requirement. You will be computer literate and have a sound knowledge in the non marine side of insurance. Lloyds ticket is desirable along with a minimum of 3yrs experience as a producing broker.

LIABILITY BROKER (CITY) ~ £35-45K
This role requires someone with 5-10 years experience Broking at Lloyds and other direct markets. the applicant wail be based in London working with the UK team broking to the lead underwriters and making new contacts. Other duties will include, Placement Broking, Account Handling & Client Liaison.

Property/Casualty Producing Broker - £50k - City
UK & American Markets, Candidates will be liaising with Company Directors Underwriters and other Brokers, gathering Layers together for the production of business in Property and Casualty Insurance. Presentation will be required for this position.

Property Owners Account Executive - £30k - Essex
Min 5 Years Property Owners insurance experience is essential, Dealing with Property Owners, Managing Agents, Architects, Surveyors, Contractors, Solicitors, Lenders and tenants regularly. To Assist with the day to day running of Property Owners Team including the development of a Profitable and growing book of Business and associated covers.

Commercial Account Handler/Executive - £30k - Essex
Duties include renewal presentations at meetings with clients including report writing and also the gathering of risk factors and data to enable quality re-market exercises to be undertaken. The job will also require good negotiation skills with insurers, whether they be the company market or Lloyds underwriters. small to medium accounts. Good Education & or ACII working towards.

UNDERWRITING

UNDERWRITER/EDI ADMINISTRATOR - ESSEX - £20,000

To underwrite standard household insurance risks, in accordance with personal authority levels and the requirements of the insurer binding agreement.

To administer the division’s EDI system, communicating with brokers where necessary.
Underwriting
Assess new business risks to determine whether the business matches the company’s underwriting philosophy.
In accordance with personal authority levels, make decisions on standard household risks to secure the best possible terms for the company. 
Gather and process information to support the effective assessment of more complex cases where referral is required. 
Support in the processing of mid term amendments and renewals, where necessary.
EDI
Investigate and clear validation errors e.g.
Message counts out of sequence
Premium discrepancies
Mandatory data missing
Allocate workflow items to appropriate people where some underwriting referral is required
Maintain broker records and communicate with brokers in relation to commission, agent numbers, errors, etc. 
Allocate batches of Point of Sale (POS) policy numbers to EDI brokers, recording these on Landscape. Contact brokers for explanation/correction when there is a gap in their POS policy number usage or when a policy number outside their POS range has been used.
Produce and progress documentation in a timely and accurate manner in line with FSA requirements and service standard requirements.
Act as an agent for, and in the interests of, the Insurer at all times.
Maintain close working relationships with the Underwriting, Claims, Sales and Accounting Teams.

HOUSEHOLD UNDERWRITER - ESSEX  - £23,000

To underwrite standard household insurance risks, in accordance with personal authority levels and the requirements of the insurer binding agreement.

HOUSEHOLD UNDERWRITER - ESSEX - £19K

To underwrite standard household insurance risks, in accordance with personal authority levels and the requirements of the insurer binding agreement. 

The prime function of the jobholder is to assist in the development of a profitable and growing account.

COMMERCIAL UNDERWRITER ~(ESSEX) ~ £30-40K
Commercial Underwriter required for the Commercial All Risks (CAR) team. This role will ideally suit someone with 4+ Years experience in commercial insurance. You will be required to build relationships with clients and customers and be able to underwrite individual cases and build a profitable business. Candidates Must be progressing towards their ACII examination and have at least 5 GCSE's at grade A to C.

PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY UNDERWRITER ~ £28K ~ £35K - City
The successful candidate will be working in a very busy office environment dealing with Professional Indemnity Insurance. The Underwriting of risks under our line ship facilities, Binding Risks on behalf of Underwriters, Providing a checking Role. Technical resource for other staff. Ideally 5+ years PI Experience. Good communication/team player but able to work independently, self motivated, disciplined and well organised.

REINSURANCE TECHNICIAN ~ (CITY) ~ £25-35K
A Reinsurance Technician is required for a city based company. Your duties will be to collate R/I slips, examine facultative reinsurance data, reconcile system output and data with R/I slips, document errors, construct Dr/DC notes, arrange settlement/recovery and construct and maintain filing system. You must have at least 2yrs reinsurance experience, QS experience is very useful and you must be able to work on your own initiative.

ENERGY LOSS ADJUSTER ~ (CITY) ~ £30-40k
Our client, is currently seeking to employ a Senior Loss Adjuster to join their fast expanding commercial department dealing with Energy claims.

This is an extremely interesting role in which you will have sole responsibility for handling and adjusting your own claims and you will therefore need to have an in depth understanding of the technical side of Energy claims. The role will involve carrying out detailed investigations, completing reports to insurance companies and senior management and liaising closely with all relevant parties and also some overseas travelling.

You will have gained at least 3 years Energy loss adjusting experience or will alternatively be able to demonstrate an exceptionally high technical commercial claims history. In addition you will have gained the ACII qualification or be working towards it, Society of Claims Technicians membership will also be considered
